ok, hi everyone im Alyson and my bff needs boy help. here is the problem


She and her mom went to go get a vday card for some one and when they got home at their front door there were roses a teddy bear and chocolates. They came from a really nerdy boy with a mustache (ick!) and her mom is making her write him a letter. How can she tell him she isnt interested without hurting him?

ok, i had a problem kind of like this. What I would do would be to say: That was so sweet of you to send me those, and I'm flattered you think that much of me, but right now, I'm just not interested in you romantically.

That's wat i would do to let him down gently. I had to let a guy down REALLY hard once, bc he was starting to kinda turn into a stalker. lol.

I'd do the same thing! let him down gently & try 2 avoid him a little bit more without him noticing if it gets 2 out of hand

ok this happened a few times to my friends, and the best way is to tell them nicely, maybe when they come up to you in the hallway or go and seek them out, when they are by themself not in front of tones of their friends,and tell them that you think that it was nice of them to think of you, and that it was brave of them to speak up, you just dont feel the same way, and that you hope they find someone else thats perfect for them. you could maybe add that you could be just friends (but beware, you might end up being friends, so use with caution). Treat them nicely, it WAS nice, kind, sweet, and brave of them to go and speak out, thats something that is hard to do, and you want to make sure that nothing gets out that you are a jerk when someone asked you out, cause then that sweet hott guy over there sure wont ask you out in fear of being turned down (and we dont want that to happen).
My friends older brother was turned down really cruely, and he is sweet, smart, and cute; and it was a terrible experience for him, he didnt want to ask anyone else out again, took alot to get over, he said he wouldnt mind it if someone turned him down the way i explained up there. oh! and have your friend think of maybe going with a group of you guys and maybe meet with him for lunch or something, give him a chance, cause the guy deserves a chance for having the courage to ask, and the guy knows that you did try. and who know you might regret turning him down, you might have just liked him. thanks for reading my way to long of a spiel that rambled on and on.
